Resources for Educators:

MAS works closely with local schools, youth groups, and educators in order to develop materials that aim to promote diversity and social inclusion within our community.

 Examples of programming:

  • Free, drop-in children's programs for clients and community members

  • Presentations teaching about culture, diversity, special themes like Black History Month, cultural celebrations, customs and more (can be virtual or in-person)

  • Culturally themed programs, crafts, and activities

  • Assistance integrating newcomer youth

  • Diversity and Inclusion classroom workshops

  • Cultural competency training
